Welcome to the home of the Honda VTX Owners Club and the United Kingdom X Riders. X is a slang word given to the Honda VTX range of motorcycles in the United States of America, The X Riders aspect of our club is a social club where club members, area reps and management arrange and attend meetings, rideouts, events and rallies in the United kingdom and Europe with like-minded people who own and ride similar custom motorcycles. We are the Original and first VTX Owners Club set up in the United Kingdom and the original United kingdom X Riders.
There is a VTX enthusiasts club which was set up in Birmingham, but they are not part of our organisation.

X Riders is all about getting out and about on your bike with like-minded people and socialising with your fellow members.

The Honda VTX Owners Club is primarily a web based group where members can chat to or ask for help and advice from their fellow members. you will find a link to our forum by clicking the yellow Club Forum link on this page, underneath the Application form.

We are an independent Club owned and run on behalf of our members on a voluntary and not for profit basis, we are funded by donations, sponsors, links and advertising, excess funding or profit will be given to charity. There are no charges for any of our facilities or services and membership is free to all members, we are primarily a VTX Club but welcome members with other Honda cruiser motorcycles as full members and all other custom cruiser motorcycles such as Yamaha and Suzuki and Kawasaki as associate members.

To join us simply fill out a Online Membership Application Forum which can be found underneath this text then visit the club form and register as a new user, as from June 2008 all members will be required to join the forum and all existing members will be asked to register if they haven’t already done so, this is a new requirement so we can communicate better using the form than we can using e-mail. it is important that you fill in all the information we require on the application from and state your location when registering for the forum. Your information will not be passed to anyone without your prior consent although your e-mail address will be forwarded to your local Area rep so he can make contact with you if required

The Honda VTX is a stunning custom motorcycle made by the worlds largest motorcycle manufacturers, Honda, it combines the looks of an American retro motorcycle which is similar in appearance to Harley Davison but incorporates the latest innovative engineering technology developed by Honda making the VTX one of the most reliable motorcycles on the road today. The engine is available in 1300cc and 1800cc versions, although this is a large motorcycle it is remarkably light and responsive to ride with a low centre of gravity which gives greater stability.

There are many custom parts available from Honda and third party manufacturers to customise and individualise the VTX into whatever you want a motorcycle for, from Street rod to laid back touring or custom choppers with wide rear tyres, this stunning motorcycle can be whatever you want it to be with the addition of a few extra parts and accessories such as windscreens, panniers, crash bars, chrome trim and a host of other accessories to numerous to mention.

Eindhoven, Holland, 28th to 31st August 2008

Our next National Event is the ESM rally in Eindhoven, Holland. we will be departing from Dover on Thursday 28th August to catch the ferry at about 10 am in Dover, we will then travel through France and into Belgium then on to Holland to arrive at on Thursday evening the total distance from the port to Eindhoven is about 150 miles and should take about 4 hours at a leisurely pace with stops for fuel and coffee along the way. If the weather is good we will arrange a ride-out to Duisburg in Germany on Saturday morning where we hope to meet up with some members from the German VTX Owners club for a look around the town and coffee. Our hosts are arranging a ride-out on Sunday morning in the Eindhoven region, last year it was filmed and shown on the news, many people came out onto the street and waved to the riders as they went past. we will returning to the UK on Sunday 31st although some members may choose to stay at the Bikers Loft in Belgium which is a hotel specifically for bikers and return on Monday. Any members from the North of England or Scotland can be found accommodation overnight on the way out and back. We attended this rally last year and the reception we got was warm and friendly please see the forum for further details, this is a highly recommended Rally.

Isle of Skye Trip, May 2008
A big thanks goes out to all those that made the trip to the isle of Skye and a special thanks to Mike, Aka Tex for organising the event and working out and planning the itinerary, it all went together seamlessly and a great time was had by all. We left Squires cafe on Saturday morning and travelled north meeting other members on the way. The scenery was breathtaking and many of us took photographs at every opportunity. The campsites were excellent and provided a range of first class facilities including showers, hot water and clean toilets. we stopped at Irongray on the first night, Luss which is on the banks of Loch Lomond on the second night then onto Fort William on the third night night. The weather was sunny right up until Wednesday afternoon when many of us got absolutely drenched in the torrential rain. Our hosts Julia and peter who run the Bikers bed and breakfast at Broadford on the Island were more than helpful and looked after us in a way that can only be described as above and beyond the call of duty, some members had bed and breakfast whilst the rest camped in the extensive grounds, every facility was provided to us, Julia even arranged a BBQ and went to the local shop to sock up on food and drink. Peter runs a motorcycle workshop on site so any problems with bikes can be sorted out, fortunately our bikes performed well and apart from my bike not starting on the last day because I turned off the fuel tap accidentally when pulling out the choke there were no problems at all. The bikers Bed and breakfast can be contacted on 01471 822682.
